Pulmonary & Critical Care

Our mission is to educate the CNU community about what it looks like to work in Pulmonary and Critical Care such that students have a better idea about what the field has to offer. By exposing students to the field prior to clerkships, the Pulmonary and Critical Care SIG can help students make a more informed decision about whether to consider pulmonology as a future specialty. We hope to raise awareness for pulmonary illnesses and donate to pulmonary causes through fundraising for related nonprofits (Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, American Lung Association, etc).

Activities:

• Interactive talks and Q&As with practicing pulmonologists 

• Hands-on skills workshops such as learning the basics of intubation and airway management
