Our mission is to spread awareness and recognition of rare diseases, to establish professional relationships, and to promote career opportunities within the rare disease space.
Why is the zebra the mascot of the rare disease community?
Goals and objectives for 2023-2024:
Connect and build relationships with organizations in/around Sacramento that work with patients with rare diseases.
Promote research presentations and conference attendance involving rare diseases.
Fundraise and raise awareness for Rare Disease Day 2024.
