"We hope to engage medical students in exploring medicine outside of the US and understanding the strengths and pitfalls of other healthcare systems abroad. We have lots of activities ranging from guest speaks who have practiced medicine all over the world, to surgical differences between the US and abroad, and potentially global service learning opportunities in medicine."
Mission Statement to create a space where students actively learn and engage in discussions about global health and medicine and to provide opportunities for students to gain practical experience and create an impact in the global health.
